The case is progressing well. After a slow start the processing of individuals’ overtime claims is proceeding well. Out of 1,762 claims we have resolved 1,605. We are still waiting for the State to send us 5 claims. We are waiting for 97 Plaintiffs to get back to us. And, we are waiting for 13 of claims to be resolved regarding the appropriate calculations. At this time we have 41 Plaintiffs that are missing and are unable to locate. The State has paid 977 Plaintiffs, that is well over half. 401 have been reduced to judgment and are still waiting payments. The State has sent us calculations on some of the Plaintiffs for penalty pay. We are going through the same verification process for those that we did for the overtime claims. It is doubtful that the case will be finalized by the end of this year. However, most people should be paid for the overtime claim and we are hoping that a huge percentage of the penalty pay claims will be resolved by the end of this year. |
